$100 Shopping Day

I went to the mall today to catch all the 4th of July Sales. I had a stellar day of deals. I went to the mall with the idea that I will only spend $100 and usually that is just a pipe dream. But today I did it! I did my normal route of stores: Loft, Zara, American Eagle, Banana Republic, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21 and Gap. I didn’t find something at all the stores but I did find some great stuff. To summarize: Loft had their 40% off everything sale and usually I can’t get enough of this sale but their current collection is just not speaking to me. Zara’s was another big disappointment, I see so many people buy things from this store and I love it all, but when I go there, I can never find anything I want. I have this same issue with H&M, I’ve never bought anything from this store, yet to so many others this is a gold mine for many trendy and even staple items for their closets. Then I went downstairs to American Eagle, found a great light weight military jacket and silver cuff, everything in the store was 20% off! Banana Republic was a surprise, I don’t shop there as much anymore because I don’t want to pay the prices, my speed is more the BR Outlets. But I found a cute skirt and tee and you can’t beat 40% off sale items, not to mention I had a $10 reward card to use! Anthropologie was sadly disappointing, came out empty handed, which always breaks my heart a little. Back upstairs again to Urban Outfitters, another surprise, I found several cute summery skirts on their 30% off sale items rack. I ended up with two great little gems. Next up Forever 21, I get so lost in this store but the cheap prices are worth it. Found a great cotton maxi skirt and a couple necklaces. Gap has lost its taste factor again, not really sure what is up with their styles lately. I give it a couple more years to have them get back to their glory again. They seem to go in and out of knowing what to put on their racks. That concludes my shopping trip. Now for a recap of my spending budget and how I bought 4 Skirts, 1 Tee, 1 Jacket, 3 Jewelry items all this for under $100!
